100 Followers Photography Contest!

Introducing, Being Shelley's very first Photography Contest! It's in celebration of reaching 100 followers! I was thinking of just doing a normal giveaway, but I've never hosted a photography contest of my own, and I thought it'd be fun, so here it is! The theme is love, since Valentine's Day is coming up. Below is one of my photos, this is just an example of what you could do. When I think of love I think of flowers! Creativity is encouraged and I can't wait to see your interpretations of the theme!

Important stuff:

• to enter for a chance to win, you must publicly follow my blog
  
• to enter your photo, first post it on your blog. Then leave me a comment on this post with the URL to your photo post. Again, that's the URL to your specific post, not to your entire blog
• you may only enter one photo, and it has to be taken by you
  
• this photography contest ends on Valentine's Day, February 14th at midnight

Bucket List

Everyone has goals, set achievements, hopes and dreams. We like to explore, discover and learn new things. When my time here on earth is up, I want to be content with the things I've done and the way I've spent my time. I want to feel full and accomplished, not wishing I had done more with my life. So here is my bucket list. These are the things I want to do before I die. This list isn't very long yet because I just started it, but I will add to it as time goes on, and maybe even post it again once more is added to it.

• Visit Paris, and see the Eiffel Tower
• Be kissed on the lips mid-sentence
  
• Organize an event to raise money for charity
• Save a life
• Use my time to help others, to accumulate over 300 volunteer hours before I finish high school
• Go to Israel and float in the Dead Sea
  
• Have 10 writing pieces or photos published in some way
• Reach over 150 followers on this blog
• To pull an all-nighter with friends for fun
• Swim with dolphins

I just recently discovered that I have been blogging for more than a year now. I checked my profile page, and I started this blog in March 2010. It's a little late, but I think we need to have celebration! Introducing Being Shelley's very first GIVEAWAY! It's summer themed!
