Mr Sun, Please Shine Down on Me

Although I love the wintry scenery, hot chocolates, snow days, and the cuddle-for-warmth moments, I want spring to come already! I long to hear the birds chirping as I walk home from school. I wish the beautiful flowers would pop up from the ground and spread their happiness everywhere! I hope for the days when I can wear a thin sweatshirt, no hats or mitts needed! Where are you spring?

It's not even the spring I want, more the hot sun, and everything that comes with it. When the sun is out, you can do so many fun things! I enjoy going on walks or hikes in the woods with my family. Also bike rides around the neighborhood. Sometimes just sitting out in the backyard reading can be great!

I love the sun! When I close my eyes, I can feel the sun's rays shining down on me. The sun gives me energy, just like another light I know ... The Son, Jesus! Christ gives me energy everyday. Without Him in my life, I don't know what I'd do! Oh Son, please shine down on me!

  3. Yes! I am so ready for the spring to come! I prefer fall a bit more as our spring tends to be lots of wind. :( Today was really pretty- just a sweatshirt if you were in the shade.
I loved how you tied it into the REAL Son. :)

  4. I love the building in your picture, I love those types of buildings!
I'm actually over summer right now. Summer in Australia is exaggeratingly hot, winter is so much better. But I do understand why you want it to be spring :)
